500 Gallons Of Cooking Oil Stolen From Restaurant: Westchester Duo Nabbed In CT, Police Say
Two New York men have been arrested for allegedly stealing more than 500 gallons of used cooking oil at a Connecticut restaurant.
The men, both from Westchester County, were stopped in Litchfield County in Harwinton around 5:45 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 12.
According to Connecticut State Police, the duo, identified as Yonkers residents Jeyson Santiago, age 25, and Isaac Then, age 25, were stopped after troopers received a 911 call regarding a suspicious vehicle parked near a restaurant in Harwinton.

Westchester Man Nabbed On Host Of Drug, Gun Charges During Fairfield County Stop, Police Say
A Westchester County man was arrested on a host of alleged charges, including criminal possession of firearms, after being stopped in Fairfield County for not having a proper license plate.
Tremaine Fraiser, age 24, of New Rochelle, was arrested on Saturday, March 27, by Greenwich Police after being stopped for not having a proper license plate.
Officers stopped Frasier after they noticed he did not have a front license plate, Greenwich PD Captain Mark E. Zuccerella said.

Northern Westchester Man Nabbed For DWI/Drugs Following Crash Into Tree, Police Say
A Northern Westchester man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs following a traffic crash in which he hit a vehicle and a tree.
William Hankins, age 41, of Ossining, was arrested on Tuesday, March 16, after Yorktown Police responded to a two-vehicle crash.
The incident took place around 7:36 p.m. when the Yorktown officer responded to a call of a two-vehicle crash. Upon arrival, he identified Hankins as the driver of the vehicle that allegedly crossed into oncoming traffic, striking a vehicle, then exited the roadway and struck a tree, police said.

Woman With Suspended License Had BAC Twice Limit In Westchester Stop, Police Say
A Long Island woman was arrested for allegedly driving drunk at more than twice the legal limit.
New York State Police stopped Natalia J. Dominguez, 21, of Brentwood, on 1-95 for vehicle and traffic violations around 7:50 p.m., Friday, June 12, in the city of New Rochelle, said Trooper Tara L. McCormick said.
During the stop, troopers found that Dominguez had a suspended license was allegedly intoxicated, McCormick said.
Dominguez was arrested and transported to headquarters in New Rochelle where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .18 percent, said McCormick.

Northern Westchester Teen Charged With DWI After Crashing Into Woods, Police Say
A 19-year-old man was arrested after allegedly driving his vehicle into a wooded area while driving drunk.
Franklin Martinez, of Peekskill, was arrested around 10:43, p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 31, after Yorktown Police responded to a report of a vehicle in the woods on Hanover St., said the Yorktown Police.
When officers responded to the scene, they found Martinez was allegedly drunk, was driving without a license, and had committed several traffic violations, police said.
A breath test showed Martinez was driving with a blood-alcohol level over 0.8 percent, police said.

Drunk Westchester Man Without License Runs Stop Sign In Greenwich, Police Say
A Westchester man was arrested after allegedly running a stop sign in Greenwich while driving drunk and without a license.
Jose Sanchez-Hernandez, 30, of West Harrison, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 1, after a Greenwich police officer observed a black Chevrolet Traverse drive south onto Frontage Road from I-95 without for a stop sign, said Greenwich Police.
Once stopped, officers found Sanchez-Herandez with glassy, red eyes and smelled the odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle.
Sanchez-Hernandez was asked to participate in a field sobriety test which he failed, police said.

Wrong-Way Driver, 31, Was Driving Without License In Greenwich, Police Say
A Greenwich man was arrested after police nabbed him driving the wrong way down a street Sunday afternoon.
Mark Traisman, 31, was pulled over around 1:10 p.m. on Greenwich Avenue by Greenwich police officers. Once stopped he handed the officer police a driver’s license with another person’s name, according to the arrest report,
It was later revealed he did not have a valid license, according to the arrest report.
Traisman was charged with driving without a license, criminal impersonation, forgery, and interfering with a police investigation.
