Road Closures Scheduled During Yorktown Holiday Light Parade Santa Claus is coming to Yorktown this weekend, and he’s bringing a host of road closures for the annual Holiday Lights parade. Yorktown Police Chief Robert Noble announced that “to provide for the safety of parade participants and spectators,” there will be road closures beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1. Woman Charged With Violating Order Of Protection In Northern Westchester A Dutchess County woman has been remanded into the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections after allegedly violating a Temporary Order of Protection issued in Putnam, according to police in Yorktown. Shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to the Kmart parking lot on Downing Drive, where there was a report of two people arguing in a vehicle.
