DWI Driver Charged After BMW Crashes Into Hudson Valley House, Killing Two
A drunk driver was charged with four counts of aggravated vehicular manslaughter in connection with a November crash into a home that killed two people, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Christopher Perrella, 32, of Vernon, N.J., was arraigned Tuesday in connection with the deaths of two women who were passengers in a BMW that Perrella had been driving and crashed into a house in Warwick on Nov. 4, the DA's Office said. Hudson Valley Cabbie Sentenced For Two Rapes
An Orange County cabbie was sentenced to 21 years in prison for the rape of two young women last year, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Javier Alexander Vilchez Salazar, 34, of New Windsor, who pleaded guilty to rape in March, was sentenced Thursday to the prison term and 10 years post-release supervision for raping two young women last year, the DA's Office said. Cop From Hudson Valley Pleads Guilty To Raping Two Women
A retired NYPD lieutenant pleaded guilty to two counts of rape in connection with the sexual assault of two teenage girls, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Nicholas McAteer, 46, from Glenwood Lake pled guilty Wednesday in connection with the 2007 and 2011 rapes of two teenage girls. At the time of his plea, McAteer admitted to the forcible rape of the two girls. McAteer raped the first girl in 2007 when the girl was 18-years old, the DA's Office said.
