Water Shutdown Scheduled For Stretch Of Croton-On-Hudson Homes There will be a temporary road closure and lack of water service in Croton-on-Hudson on Thursday as crews work to replace equipment in the area. The Croton-on-Hudson Water Department will be replacing a valve along Maple Street on Oct. 4, prompting a water shut off in the area of Maple Street and Old Post Road South. The shutdown is scheduled for approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday, and should last approximately two hours.
