Beloved Village Employee Dies Suddenly In Westchester: 'True Ambassador' A community in Westchester is mourning the sudden loss of a senior center employee who dedicated herself to caring for others and organizing activities to make her home a better place.  The untimely death of Nina Jones, a well-known staff member at the Port Chester Senior Community Center, was announced by the village on Sunday, Nov. 10. Town Dock Tavern, located in Rye at 15 Purdy Ave., will open for its last day in business after 27 years on Sunday, June 23, the eatery's owners announced on Tuesday, May 28. Buchanan resident Brian Neurauter has set up a maze and haunted house on 4th Street, complete with all the ghouls, goblins and other Halloween fixings. Hundreds of children from around the area have visited the residence leading up to the holiday, with plenty more expected to take the tour on Halloween afternoon and evening. The experience comes complete with skeletons, zombies, spiders, bats, the undead and plenty of other spooky surprises for all comers.

'Police Day' Coming To Greenwich Police Day is coming to Greenwich on Saturday, May 12, rain or shine.It will feature a bouncy castle, free hot dogs, guided tours of the Greenwich Public Safety Complex and more.  Festivities run from from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at police headquarters on Bruce Place. The family friendly event is designed to give the community the opportunity to interact with members of the department in a fun, relaxed and social setting.
