Hit-Run Severely Injures Victim Near Hudson Valley Train Station: Suspect At Large, Police Say Authorities are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck a victim near a Hudson Valley train station, leaving them severely injured. The incident happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Sept. 24 between 1:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. in Brewster, when a pedestrian was hit by a dark-colored sport utility vehicle traveling north on Railroad Avenue, according to New York State Police. The vehicle, which was possibly a Nissan, then drove away from the scene.  The hit-run happened just south of the Brewster train station, police said.
