Man Shoots Woman Inside Beauty Salon In Westchester, Then Flees State: Officials
A man with a long criminal history faces more charges after allegedly shooting into a Westchester beauty salon after a dispute and hitting a woman before fleeing the state, city officials said. The incident happened on Friday, April 21 around 5:30 p.m., when 48-year-old Bronx resident Craig Whitfield became involved in a verbal dispute with several people outside of a beauty salon in Mount Vernon at 4 West 3rd St., according to Mount Vernon Director of Communications Timothy Allen.
