The Westchester Hoopers AAU girls basketball club will hold tryouts in February and March and are seeking qualified coaches for the program, which includes youth basketball players from throughout the Westchester communities.
The tryout schedule includes:
Fourth to Eighth Grade Girls
Tryout Dates: Sunday, Feb. 26, 7-8:30 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 27, 6-8 p.m
Location: Hooperstown: 300 E. Sanford Blvd. in Mount Vernon
Ninth to 12th Grade Girls
Tryout Dates: Tues., Feb. 28, Thursday, March 1; Tuesday, March 6, and Thursday, March 8
Tryout Times: 8-10 p.m.
Tryout location: Iona College, Main Gym, 715 North Ave. in New Rochelle.

A coaches meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. at Hooperstown, 330 E. Sanford Blvd. in Mount Vernon.
Williams noted that the Hoopsters recent fundraiser was a success. The fundraiser winners are: First place: Christine Iacovello (Scarsdale), Second place: Melanie Bishop (Bronx), and Third place: Dawn Glenn (New Rochelle).
