Pace Hoops to Once Again "Play4Kay"

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace Setters will once again “Play4Kay” on Saturday.

The men’s and women’s basketball teams will host Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Rose. Various fundraisers at the games will benefit  the Kay Yow Foundation, which raises money for breast cancer research.

Play4Kay T-shirts will be available for $5 and Twin Jewelers of Pleasantville will sell jewelry for Valentine’s Day. A pink jewelry item will be raffled off from Twin Jewelers.

The two teams will also be honored with a Senior Day ceremony.

On the court, the women’s team will try to put some distance between itself and the Golden Knights in the standings. Pace is 16-6 overall and 13-5 in conference and leads Saint Rose by one game. The Golden Knights are 15-7 overall and 12-6 in the standings and sit in a three-way tie for fifth place in the conference standings.

The men’s team is 12-10 overall and 10-8 in conference and sit in sixth place in the standings. Saint Rose is 5-17 overall and 5-13 in conference. It is 15th in the conference standings.
