John Jay Boys Lacrosse Has High Hopes Entering 2016 Season

CROSS RIVER, N.Y. -- John Jay High School's varsity boys lacrosse team enjoyed a strong finish to the 2015 season, winning 12 of its last 15 games.

The season ended with a hard-fought 11-9 loss to defending 2014 state champ and archrival Yorktown in the Class B sectional final.

Hope are high for this coming season as the Indians return a total of eight college-bound players, including senior attackman Matt Lupinacci, who is bound for Colgate University.
