VALHALLA, N.Y. The Valhalla Union Free School District Board of Education will meet Tuesday evening to approve the school budget for 2012-2013.
The proposed budget of about $43,7 million is a 2.23 percent increase from the 2011-2012 budget with a tax levy limit of 2.08 percent. About half the budget will pay for salaries and 23 percent for benefits.
The public will vote to adopt the budget and elect three members the Board of Education May 15.
