Ronald (“Deuce”) Prince of Valhalla, a sophomore, has been selected to serve on the prestigious Youth About Business (YAB) National Leadership Team. He is one of only 15 students from across the country and the only one from Westchester who earned the top honor to be part of the group charged with developing the next Summer Business Camp, YAB’s cornerstone program.
At the camp, students learn about the high-finance mechanics of a corporate merger and serves as the entry point into the year-round YAB Leadership Development Program. Prince and other members of the team, who previously participated in the camp, will work together via monthly conference calls to plan YAB’s 2016 Summer
Alex Fiallos of Port Chester, a senior, has been named a Commended Student in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program for demonstrating outstanding potential academic success. At the conference, he was personally taught by distinguished physicians and medical researchers while observing live surgery and interacting with many fellow high school students from throughout the country who share his passion for the medical profession, ability and potential.
