Sample Questions For Statewide Math, Reading Tests Released

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The New York State Education Department has released sample questions for their statewide math and reading tests.

The statewide tests will be administered later in the school year.

The sample questions, which range from grades three to eight, are available here.

Commisioner of Education MaryEllen Elia also released a brief statement about the questions saying, "This week, we released 50 percent of the 2015 Grades 3-8 ELA test questions and associated reading passages and math test questions. Each released multiple-choice question includes the question itself, the answer key, the standard(s) measured by the question, and the statewide percentage of students who answered the question correctly."
