Pace University Entrepreneur Lab Looks To Add New Fellows This Fall

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- For Pace students looking to gain experience founding their own company, the road has become a little easier, thanks to a grant to the university's Entrepreneur Lab, courtesy of alumni Michael Dezer.

Thanks to a grant by real estate mogul Michael Dezer, six Pace students will have the opportunity to experience the world of start-ups through the university's eLab.

The grant allows six current Pace students to partner with several Israeli start-up companies for the 2015-16 academic year, and gain insight into the world of entrepreneurship. The program also includes a $5000 travel scholarship, allowing students to travel to Israel and experience the environment first-hand.

A leading figure in real estate, Pace alumnus Michael Dezer ’68 is one of the Lubin School's most accomplished graduates. In 2013, Dezer made a $1 million gift towards two Pace projects: the Entrepreneurship Program at the Lubin School of Business and the New York City Master Plan. A proud Israeli-American, his gift also reflects his desire to help the University foster a closer relationship with industrial and commercial leaders in the State of Israel.

The Pace Entrepreneurship Lab aims to foster an entrepreneurial mindset that results in innovation, initiative, and commitment. The eLab offers students a unique space and environment to collaborate and innovate.
