Twelve of the schools were from Westchester, two from Rockland and four from Dutchess.
Rye Country Day drew the top ranking among schools in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Dutchess counties, earning the No. 7 state ranking. RCSD, which received four stars on a five-star scale, was awarded A-plus grades for academics, teachers and college readiness. RCDS was ranked 58th nationally.
Tarrytown-based Hackley was ranked ninth in the state and 63rd nationally, receiving four stars and A-plus grades for academics, teachers and college readiness.
