Trump University – which purported to teach real estate and wealth-creation skills – crumbled under the weight of an avalanche of lawsuits, according to multiple media reports.
The billionaire businessman and Republican presidential candidate owns a mansion in Bedford and golf clubs in Briarcliff Manor and Hopewell Junction.
Trump's political rivals have been battering him with references to the suits, which allege fraudulent and misleading business practices, and he has hit back by pointing to the university’s satisfaction rating of “98 percent” -- which is based on student reviews, The New York Times story said.
