The list of speakers was announced Thursday for the convention, which will run from Monday, July 18 to Thursday, July 21 in Cleveland and culminate with the likely nomination of Donald Trump for president.
The first night will feature former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Trump's wife Melania, and Senators Tom Cotton (R-OK) and Jodi Ernst (R-IA). The night will also discuss the events at the Libyan embassy in Benghazi in 2012.
The second night will feature Dana White, president of UFC and two of Trump's children, Don Jr. and Tiffany. Governors Scott Walker (R-WI), Asa Hutchinson (R-AK) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will also be speaking.
The third night will feature Trump's vice presidential pick, reported to be Indiana Gov. Mike Pence. Also on the roster for July 20 is Newt Gingrich, who served as 50th speaker of the House of Representatives, as well as Sen. Ted Cruz and Trump's son, Eric Trump.
Trump is scheduled to give his acceptance speech on Thursday, July 21. Others giving speeches earlier in the evening include Governors Rick Scott (R-FL) and Mary Fallin (R-OK) and Trump's daughter, Ivanka.
Trump, who owns property in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
