Presidential Frontrunners Trump, Clinton Pick Up Big Wins Saturday

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton picked up big wins Saturday in their quests to win their respective parties' presidential nomination.

Trump prevailed in the South Carolina Republican primary with a double-digit win.

Hillary Clinton edged out challenger Bernie Sanders in the Nevada Democratic caucus.

"To everyone who turned out in every corner of Nevada with determination and heart: This is your win. Thank you. -H," Clinton tweeted Saturday night.

Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford and golf clubs in Briarcliff Manor and Hopewell Junction, was followed by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

The Democatic candidates will now move on to South Carolina's Democratic primary next Saturday. Clinton, a Chappaqua resident since 1999, is the heavy favorite due to her popularity with African-American voters. 

Republicans will now focus their attention on Nevada, which holds its Republican primary on Tuesday.
