North Castle Voters Head To The Polls Tuesday For Primary Elections

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. – Polls for North Castle’s primary election open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. Tuesday, with contested races for the positions of Town Board member, supervisor and town justice.

With two seats available for election on the North Castle Town Board, voters have three options for voting on each of the Conservative, Independence and Republican ballots.

Town Board candidates Barry Reiter and Barbara Digiacinto are running on the Conservative ballot, with the option for voters to write in a candidate. Jose Berra and Digiacinto will run on the Independence ticket, also with a write-in option. Incumbents Diane DiDonato-Roth and John Cronin and challenger Digiacinto will battle against each other on the Republican ballot for the two seats.

In the race for town supervisor, Michael Schiliro, a current member of the Town Board, will run on the Conservative, Democratic and Independence tickets. Anthony Futia will challenge him on the Democratic ballot. Conservative and Independent voters also have the option of voting for a write-in candidate for supervisor.

Town justice candidates Linda Trummer-Napolitano and Douglas Martino are running against each other on the Independence and Working Families ballots.
