The win means the GOP race could now be an long, drawn out one that could end with a contested convention and that frontrunner Donald Trump is no sure thing.

Trump, the reality TV star and real estate mogul who owns an estate in Bedford and golf clubs in Hopewell Junction and Briarcliff, captured the winner-take-all Florida primary and its 99 delegates, with a decisive win over Florida Sen. Marco Rubio. Rubio suspended his campaign Tuesday evening, creating a three-man race between Trump, Kasich and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

On the Democratic side, former First Lady, Secretary of State and U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton won both the Florida and Ohio primaries. The Chappaqua resident easily prevailed over challenger Bernie Sanders in both key primaries.
