It is expected to be held at an FBI office in the New York City area. The FBI has a field office on Bloomingdale Road in White Plains. It has not been announced if the briefing will be held there or at another location.

Donald Trump received his first intelligence briefing last week at Federal Plaza in downtown Manhattan.

Presidential candidates in both major political parties receive the intelligence briefings periodically between the conventions and the presidential elections every four years in a practice established by President Harry Truman.
