There was no place like home for the presidential frontrunners in their respective parties in Tuesday's New York Democratic and Republican primaries.

If the presidential election were today and these were the two candidates, who would you vote for?

  • Hillary Clinton
  • Donald Trump
  • I wouldn't vote
  • I'd place a write-in vote for another candidate
  • I'd vote for a third-party candidate

Hillary Clinton won the Democratic primary in what has been her home state of 17 years since moving to Chappaqua in 1999.

Clinton's margin of victory is expected to end up being around 15 points.

Donald Trump, of Manhattan and Bedford, easily outdistanced Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Ted Cruz on the Republican side. Trump pulled in 60 percent of the vote.

Clinton, a former New York senator, First Lady and Secretary of State, faced Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders on the Democratic side.

"We've won in every region of the country, from the north to the south to the east to the west, but this one's personal." Clinton said in her victory speech. "New Yorkers, you've always had my back, and I've always tried to have yours. Today, together, we did it again, and I am deeply grateful."

Trump is expected to come away with a minimum of 85 of New York's 95 delegates.

Clinton kicked off her New York primary campaign at Purchase College on March 31 speaking out strongly in favor of tougher gun control laws.

Earlier in the evening, Trump prevailed in a decisive victory.

The campaign for New York state's 247 Democratic delegates and 95 Republican delegates has been in full swing for three weeks, with fellow Clinton and Trump leading their respective political parties in polling and delegate vote totals less than seven months before the November election.

Trump, who owns Trump Tower in Manhattan as well as an estate in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.

"The people of this country and this state truly are great and amazing people," Trump said in his victory speech at Trump Tower. "We are going to be so strong again. Really. Legitimately so great again, and I just can't wait."
