Both candidates are in "military mode," according to USA Today, as each pointed out their credentials -- as well as their opponent's failings -- in the recent "Commander in Chief Forum" sponsored by NBC News on Wednesday, Sept. 7. Their first debate is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 26.
