Cuomo Keeps Reeling In Big Donors For Re-Election Campaign

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is fundraising at a prolific pace as he gears up for re-election next year.

According to a campaign filing, Cuomo raised more than $5 million over the past six months and has more than $25 million cash on hand. Cuomo is running for a third term next year.

Donors have included movie producer Harvey Weinstein, Ken Langone, founder of Home Depot, and Jim Walton, a member of the family that owns Walmart.

Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, who ran against Cuomo in 2014, and Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro have been mentioned as possible challengers to Cuomo.
