Westchester Man Charged In Assault

A 39-year-old Port Chester man is facing assault and other charges in connection with an attack on a Greenwich resident this weekend, police told The Greenwich Time.

John Navarra was arrested after police were called to a house on Josephine Evaristo Avenue on Saturday, May 21, where, they said, they found a victim who had been beaten and choked, The Greenwich Time reported.

Objects at the house had been trashed and there were signs of a struggle, The Greenwich Time story said.

Navarra was also charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, The Greenwich Time report said.
