Charles Burks of Yonkers was arraigned this week on a murder charge following an investigation into the shooting death of Dymere Graham on Dec. 7 last year, according to the Westchester County District Attorney’s office.
According to officials, Burks allegedly shot his victim during a Riverview Place robbery, and Graham later died from the wound and was later found by police dead in an alley on Riverview Place. Police said they used surveillance video to identify Burks as a suspect and he was later arrested.
Burks pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, a felony. He is due to appear in court on Wednesday, Feb. 28 to answer the charge. Co-defendant Kentrell Hill is also facing a murder charge for his role in the fatal robbery. Each faces life in prison if convicted.
