Search For Distraught Man Tops North Castle Police Blotter

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- North Castle police assisted in the search recently for a reportedly distraught Bedford man, according to an item in the North Castle police blotter.

On Wednesday, Sept. 2, Bedford police asked North Castle for help in finding the man, who they said had been intoxicated, threatening suicide, and who may have been trying to drive to a hospital in Connecticut.

The man was later located by a family member, Bedford police said. No further details were available.

Other blotter items included the following:

  •  Police responded to a criminal mischief complaint from someone who reported that three tires on their car had been slashed while it was parked on Business Park Drive in Armonk.
  • Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in front of 873 N. Broadway. Both drivers were transported to White Plains Hospital.
