An employee at a gas station reported that a silver Honda Accord damaged his car. The vehicle then fled south on Route 22. Police said they were canvassing the area for the vehicle.

Other items on the North Castle Police Department blotter include:

  • A caller reported that a young black man came to her door and stated that UPS had told him that they left a package for him at her address accidentally. She stated that she has not received any packages and that she found the incident odd. She described this party as a tall, thin, black male, light skin, wearing a black L/S shirt, Gucci cap, and shoes.
  • A caller reported someone at Faraway Road has been hitting golf balls and some of them have been landing on his property. He reports he has not made any attempt to contact his neighbor and request that this activity cease. An officer contacted the homeowner who stated that he believed all the golf balls have been landing on his own property, and he will ensure in the future that this remains the case.
  • A caller reports that his neighbors are playing volleyball and the ball has come onto his property several times and struck his vehicles. There does not appear to be any damage to the vehicles at this time, but police said it was making him very upset. Police responded and the matter was adjusted after speaking to the parties involved.
