A man had to be detained by police after allegedly shouting obscenities at people at a Metro-North station in Westchester.
Officers from the Westchester County Police Department were dispatched to the Mount Kisco Metro-North station at approximately 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, where there were reports of a man “screaming obscenities at a passerby.”
According to police, as officers arrived, the man boarded a train that left the station. The MTA was notified, and the man was detained in Pleasantville by village police.
Westchester County Police officers, who had previous interactions with the man, - whose name has not been released - earlier in the day, arrived to take him into custody. The man was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for a psychiatric evaluation.
