Man Charged With Driving While Impaired After I-684 Crash

SOUTHEAST, N.Y. – A Connecticut man was arrested by New York State Police on driving while intoxicated charges after an accident on Interstate 684 on Wednesday.

After a two-car collision at the Southeast rest stop, officers arrested 38-year-old Paul Iannacone of Torrington, Conn., on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs.

No one was injured in the crash.

Iannacone was ticketed and will appear in Southeast Town Court on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
