Intruder Ransacking House Tops North Castle Police Blotter

ARMONK, N.Y. -- North Castle police are investigating after a King Street resident reported that her house had been ransacked.

Police said the woman came home late Monday, March 7, and found that an intruder had gained entry by breaking a glass pane in a rear door of the residence.

She was advised to wait outside for officers to respond to her call.

In other police blotter news:

  • Friday, March 4: Two Washington Place East roommates call to report that they had come home from work to discover that several items had been stolen from their bedrooms.
  • Tuesday, March 8: A driver called police to say she had almost been sideswiped by a tan Dodge Ram pickup that was being driven erratically on Route 22. When asked for further details, she told police, they said: “I did not cut him off.”
