A man called the cops from the Main Street store on Friday, March 18, claiming that he and the business owner had gotten into an altercation over where his car was parked.
For his part, the deli owner told police that the man had refused to move said car, which was blocking the business’s driveway.
According to police, the man reported that someone was damaging his vehicle, but when they got there, they found that the Friday, March 18, dispute was only verbal and the sparring partners were sent on their way.
On Tuesday, March 22, police received a call from the boyfriend of a North Broadway homeowner, claiming that her son was at the house in violation of an order of protection.
While there was an active order of protection against the son, responding officers said they found the 911 call to be “erroneous,” according to the police blotter.
Police were also called on to mediate a minor dispute over some errant soapy water.
On Saturday, March 19, a resident of General William Street called to complain that she had gotten into a tussle with her neighbor who, she said, was washing his car next to her driveway.
The water, she told cops, was going into her drainage.
Police spoke to both parties and the matter was resolved.
