The Yonkers Police Department has issued a $1,000 reward for information that may lead to the arrest of a burglary suspect who was caught on camera.

Following several burglaries in the area of 1 Bronxville Road in the 2nd Precinct, the Yonkers Police Department announced on Wednesday that they are offering a reward for information that leads to their suspect.

According to police, on Thursday, Feb. 14 and Monday, Feb. 25, two apartments on Bronxville Road were targeted by their suspect, who gained entry to the building through windows next to fire escape landings overnight. In both instances, the suspect removed property and fled the area.

Both burglaries are actively being investigated, police said, and investigators have released a photo of the suspect. Anyone with information or who recognizes the suspect has been asked to contact investigators at the Yonkers Police Department by calling (914) 377-7724.
