A mix of rain, sleet and snow is making for a messy morning commute throughout the area on Monday.

Metro-North customers on the Harlem and New Haven Line are experiencing delays of up to 50 minutes due to a disabled train in the vicinity of Melrose Station. For more on that, click here.
The precipitation began throughout the area early Sunday evening as light snow. As temperatures began to rise, snow changed to rain in the predawn hours in areas south of I-287.
A Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service lasts until 10 a.m. Monday in Putnam and Orange counties and noon Monday in Dutchess.
There is a chance of flooding in Southern Westchester from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., the National Weather Service said in a Coastal Weather Statement issued Sunday night.
Monday's high will climb to around 43 degrees with rain ending late in the morning and skies becoming partly cloudy later in the day.
Tuesday will be a mostly sunny day with a high between 41 and 43 degrees.
