What's Happening in North Castle This Weekend

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. – A high school musical, movies, live music and a digital photography workshop are a few of the things happening in the North Castle area this weekend.

Friday

Little Shop of Horrors: 7 p.m. Valhalla High School’s spring musical. The black comedy is about a man in a flower shop who finds a plant that feeds on human blood. Valhalla High School, 300 Columbus Ave., Valhalla.

Friday Night Cinema, Walk on Water: 7-9 p.m. The Eytan Fox film follows an Israeli intelligence agent who is assigned to befriend the grandchildren of a Nazi war criminal. In English, German and Hebrew. The North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road, East, Armonk.

Live Music at Opus 465: Norm from 5-8 p.m. and Michael Nappi from 9 p.m. to midnight will perform. Opus 465, 465 Main St., Armonk.

Saturday

Little Shop of Horrors: 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Two performances of Valhalla High School’s spring musical, a free senior matinee with lunch included and an evening performance. Valhalla High School, 300 Columbus Ave., Valhalla.

Learn Tai Chi: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Lawrence Attile, a certified feldenkrais movement and tai chi instructor teaches feldenkrais and chi king breathing techniques for deep relaxation. The North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road, East, Armonk.

Macramé Session for Children: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Children ages 8 and up are invited to attend a macramé class. North Castle Public Library, North White Plains branch, 10 Clove Road, North White Plains.

Digital Photography Workshop: 1-3 p.m. Lori Adams, a professional photographer offers hands-on Adobe Photoshop and light room instruction. Bring your camera and a laptop. The North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road, East, Armonk.

Live Music at Opus 465: 9 p.m. to midnight. Slick Trixie will perform. Opus 465, 465 Main St., Armonk.
