Westchester's Professional Women Network in Armonk

Female professionals throughout Westchester will have the opportunity to meet, connect, and share information with one another next week when The Professional Women of Westchester hosts a networking event in Armonk.

"I’ve been told time and time again that women who attend are doing business with each other and learning about other women and the services and products they offer," Jamie Imperati, president of the group, said. "It’s a great resource to have."

The networking event will be Tuesday at Opus465 on Main Street in Armonk at 6 p.m. It is $15 per person and includes a cash bar and appetizers.

Armonk resident and secretary Rose Cabasso Colonna said it was an event that "can't be beat."

The doors are open for any professional woman in Westchester to attend.

Imperati said the networking events typically average close to 80 women each night.

"It’s been amazing," she said. "My job is to create the environment, and it makes me happy when I find out that women are doing business with each other. It’s a good feeling to know they’re spending their dollars with one another."

The Professional Women of  Westchester is a networking group for the women of the county and provides opportunities for networking, information sharing, and professional development.
