According to lohud.com, the company at 969 Midland Ave., agreed to fine Tuesday.

According to lohud.com. Yonkers Contracting sub-contracted 2.5 percent of the $144 million deal to Global Marine Supply Co.

Under the agreement entered into with the state in 2006, Yonkers Contracting had agreed to sub-contract at least 8.03 percent of the $144 million to 15 "disadvantaged" companies, lohud.com reported.

Though Global Marine was included as one of the disadvantaged companies, prosecutors alleged it was a "pass through" business that allowed Yonkers Contracting to work with another vendor, according to the report.
