Donald Trump's campaign manager was charged with simple battery after grabbing and bruising a former reporter at an event in Florida on March 8, according to multiple reports.

Corey Lewandowski reportedly grabbed the arm of former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields by the left forearm and left bruises, CNBC reported.

Trump issued a statement saying his campaign manager was innocent of the charges, CNBC said.
