'Trespasser' Struck, Killed By Metro-North Harlem Line Train

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- A person was struck and killed by a Metro-North Harlem line train between the Bronxville and Fleetwood stations early Thursday morning, Metro-North said.

The identity of the person, described as a "trespasser" by Metro-North, has not been released. Nor has any possibe reason the person was on the tracks. The incident occurred just before dawn.

Harlem-Line trains experienced delays of up to 30 minutes during the morning commute as a result of subsequent police activity.
