Suspicious Man Turns out to be Landscaper

ARMONK, N.Y.- A woman called the North Castle Police Department last week to say there was a suspicious man in a red car who appeared to be following a young teenager on Whippoorwill Road East.

In the call, the woman said she asked the boy if he needed help and he responded by saying “I think the guy is gone, so I’m ok.” The caller reported, though, that the vehicle continued to drive up and down the block.

Sergeant Hufnagle responded to the scene and reported that the man was a landscaper who was soliciting business in the area.
