Speak Your Mind at The Tappan Zee Bridge Hearings

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Two public hearings have been scheduled on the proposed infrastructure improvements for the Tappan Zee Bridge on Oct. 25 and 27.

Officials from the Federal Highway Administration, the New York State Department of Transportation and the New York State Thruway Authority will present plans for the bridge and listen to public comments on the project.

The first public hearing will take place at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown on Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 4 to 9 p.m. The DoubleTree Hotel is located at 455 S. Broadway in Tarrytown.

The second public hearing will take place at the Palisades Center Adler Room in West Nyack on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 4 to 9 p.m. The Palisades Center is located at 1000 Palisades Center Drive in West Nyack.

During each meeting, presentations will be given at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Residents wishing to speak at the hearing must register by 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively. Officials ask that those with special needs to call 917-339-0488.
