Snow, Bitter Cold, Sub-Zero Wind Chills Will Return To Armonk

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County's streak of days with sub-freezing temperatures will only get worse in the coming days.

Temperatures will dip into the teens overnight into Thursday morning with snow showers likely, and a possible snow squall. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent with less than one inch of accumulation possible. 

The threat of snow will persist until about 1 p.m. on Thursday, but the brutal cold will remain with a high of only 17 degrees. Wind gusts of up to 26 mph could drive wind chills below zero. 

Friday could prove to be even colder with sunny skies and a high of around 11. 

Saturday will be comparatively warm with a high around 28 before snow moves in overnight.

Wintry precipitation, mixed with rain, will return on Sunday with a high around 40.
