Mostly cloudy skies will give way to rain and snow in the afternoon and into the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent with up to an inch of accumulation, especially in areas farther north, including Northern Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess.
Flurries could linger into Wednesday morning with temperatures reaching a high of 32 degrees.
Thursday will remain mostly cloudy with a high in the mid-30s.
Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 40s.
Wintery weather could return on Saturday with freezing rain and snow possible.
