Route I-84 Reopens After Two-Hour Closure

A stretch of I-84 has reopened Monday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned resulting in its closure for nearly two hours.

The 6 a.m. incident occurred on the westbound side between Ludingtonville Road (Exit 17) and the Taconic State Parkway (Exit 16) in Dutchess, causing backups to Route 311 (Exit 18).

There was initially a minor fuel spill following the incident.

The roadway opened by 8 a.m.
