Roadways Reopening Across County

UPDATE - Friday, noon: The highways that were closed Thursday in Westchester County reopened on Friday with one exception. All lanes on the Saw Mill River Parkway are blocked in both directions between Manville Road, NY 117 in the town of Mount Pleasant, and Exit 27, Marble Avenue in the town of Mount Pleasant.

PELHAM, N.Y. – The result of recent heavy rains continue to plague Westchester County highways that remain closed due to flooding.

The Hutchinson River Parkway is closed between the Pelham line and Exit 7.

The Cross County Parkway is closed in both directions at Exit 6. The Bronx River Parkway exit ramps are closed there.

All lanes are blocked on the Bronx River Parkway southbound between Palmer Avenue and the Cross County Parkway. All lanes are also blocked between the Sprain Brook Parkway split and Exit 22, Central Avenue.

All three lanes of the Sprain Brook Parkway southbound are blocked between Central Park Avenue and the Bronx River Parkway exit.

The northbound exit ramp on Interstate 95 at Exit 18A, Fenimore Road, is closed due to flooding. The southbound ramp at Exit 18B is also closed.

The Cross Westchester Expressway is closed eastbound at Exit 8W/8/8E, Westchester Avenue, due to flooding.

Interstate 87 is closed in both directions at Exit 7A, Saw Mill River Parkway, due to flooding.

At least one southbound lane is blocked on Route 9A south of Warehouse Lane in Elmsford. All lanes are also closed northbound on 9A at Grasslands Road.

The Saw Mill River Parkway is closed in both directions between Manville Road, in Mount Pleasant, and Exit 12, Farragut Parkway, in Greenburgh.

Flooding occurred on NY 22 northbound south of King Street near NY 120 in North Castle.

All lanes are closed in both directions at Pond Street on NY 138 east of the Exit for 1-684 in Lewisboro.
