Reports Of Missing Person, Injured Deer Among North Castle Police Calls

ARMONK, N.Y. --  Reports of a missing person and an injured deer were among the calls North Castle Police responded to this past week.

Other reports by police include: 

  • A general noise complaint on Tallwoods Road: Police were called to report of a loud party near Tallwoods Road on Friday, Oct. 31. The party was ended, and matters were adjusted.
  • Assist citizen at 5 Hidden Oak Road: Caller reported that she and her daughter had locked themselves out of the house Saturday, Nov. 1. Police responded to assist, and the matter was adjusted.
  • Animal injured: A caller reported an injured deer on SR 120 north between Whippoorwill Road and Nanny Hagen Road on Saturday, Nov. 1. State Department of Transportation was notified for removal. 
  • Aid to child who fell down stairs: Complainant requested an ambulance for his 6-year-old son who received a laceration to his head from a fall down a flight of stairs on Saturday, Nov. 2. Ambulance was dispatched and assigned.
  • Low hanging wires on roadway: Complainant reported low hanging wires across the roadway near High Street. on Sunday, Nov. 3. An officer responded and reported that the low hanging wire is a Verizon wire and notified the company. 
  • Missing person adult from 670 N. Broadway: Complainant reports an elderly male who suffers from dementia had wandered off from his wife in the area of the stated location about 20 minutes in the past and could not be located on Sunday, Nov. 3. An officer was dispatched to area. Party was subsequently located in the parking lot of the stated location.
  • Assist citizen at 905 N. Broadway: Complainant reported that a vehicle left the Shell Station without paying for $58.56 in fuel on Sunday, Nov. 3. The complainant stated that this could be due to a misunderstanding and not with criminal intent. Complainant waited until Monday, Nov. 4, to request assistance as he had to review surveillance footage to secure a license plate of the vehicle. Purchase was made by a white female operating New York registration ECZ6281.
