Rainbow Appears At World Trade Center Before 9/11 Ceremonies

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Social media photos of a rainbow appearing to originate from the World Trade Center on Thursday morning on the eve of ceremonies marking the 14th anniversary of 9/11 on Friday have gone viral.

Witnesses said the rainbow began to appear at around 7 a.m. Thursday.

"Amazing NYC Rainbow today. Originating from #worldtradecenter the day before #911," Tweeted Ben Sturner, CEO of Leverage Agency, a sports marketing company.

Sturner snapped the photos after stepping onto the terrace of his Long Island City apartment, according to multiple reports.
