Pollen Counts Will Soar This Week In Armonk

Allergy suffers will want to grab some tissues this week as the pollen count for tree and grass is forecast to be very high for the area Tuesday through Thursday, according to Weather.com.

The problem? As temperatures continue in the 50s and 60s, trees and grass believe its spring and are blooming, leading to the high grass and tree pollen count.

Specialist say the best way to avoid allergy problems is to remain indoors and to run an air-conditioner. Or, hope for rain which will wash away much of the pollen.

Rain is forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, which might help. Chance of rain is 50 percent.
