Poll: Should New York Admit Syrian Refugees?

Friday's terrorist attacks on Paris has turned whether or not the U.S. should admit Syrian refugees into the country from a political hot-button issue into divisive dinner table debate.

President Obama has said he still intends to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees over the next year. 

As of Monday, 21 governors have said they would look to reject any Syrian refugees looking to take shelter within their borders, despite assurances that a "thorough vetting process" would be implemented. 

Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New York and Gov. Dannel Malloy of Connecticut have gone on the record saying they would accept Syrian refugees. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said he would oppose the resettling of refugees within the Garden State.
