Armonk drivers will have to deal with delays on I-684 next week while lanes both northbound and southbound are closed for ongoing road renovations.
The New York State Department of Transportation said lanes and ramps will be closed from Monday through Friday for paving. Lanes will be closed going both directions between exit one at I-287 and exit two for NY-120 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.
There will also be exit and entrance ramps closed on southbound at exit two for NY-120 Monday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Signed detours will be in place.
The NYSDOT asks that drivers use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers. Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
